  Dr. Michael Sing completed his BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying (1st Hon) and Master in Building Engineering (Distinction) at the City University of Hong Kong and received the Student Award from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He is a chartered building surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS). He has more than 9 years’ industrial experience in the field of building surveying and project management prior to starting his academic career.

After obtaining his PhD, he had served as a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University, Australia and Visiting Assistant Professor at City University of Hong Kong. His research interests involve: project performance evaluation, modelling and simulation, sustainability in construction and asset management.
