Dr. Tan obtained his Bachelor Degree (BEng in Civil Engineering) and Master Degree (MSc in Engineering Management) from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 1998 and 2003 respectively. He completed his PhD study in 2009 at the Department of Building and Real Estate, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the same Department. His current research interests are competitiveness, strategic management and sustainability in construction.
