Introduction : Dr. Edmond Lam obtained his BSc(Hons) degree in Construction Economics and Management with commendation (First in Class). He is currently Instructor at the Department of Building and Real Estate, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has been Post-doctoral and Project Fellowin Construction Management, and Co-Investigator of a CII-HK research project entitled “Construction Safety Involving Working at Height for Residential Building Repair and Maintenance”. After graduation, Dr. Lam worked in a construction cost consultancy firm in Hong Kong as Assistant Quantity Surveyor and later joined the University again where he obtained his PhD degree in Construction Procurement Management. Dr. Lam has also been Lecturer at The Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education specialized in building and construction related subjects. He has published several research papers on the theme of construction procurement management in refereed academic journals and international conference proceedings. Currently, Dr. Lam is Full Member of The Australian Institute of Building(MAIB) and Deputy Editor of The Construction Industry Institute, Hong Kong (CII-HK).
