Dr. Leung obtained her PhD degree in Property Finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, MPhil degree in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge and BA degree in Finance from the University of Wales. She gained her practical experience in financial management from working in a construction engineering company and an international corporation for a number of years and she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Australian Institute of Building and the Hong Kong Institute of Value Management. She received the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award from the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (2008), the Outstanding Presentation Award in the XXXI World Congress of the International Association for Housing Science (2003) and the Management Competition Award from the UK Institute of Management (1995).  Dr. Leung had worked in a number of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong which included the City University and the Open University before joining the Department of Building and Real Estate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999. Her research interests are in housing economics and property investment & finance.
