Manuscripts must be typed on one side of A4 paper, with doubled spacing and margins of 2.5cm/1inch on all four sides. Papers must be numbered consecutively. Figures and tables should be grouped together at the end of the manuscript on separate sheets. Figure and table captions should be in standard fonts. All figures and tables must be referred to consecutively in the text, and their appropriate positions should be indicated.

The abstract should not exceed 150 words, and must provide a clear indication of the research described in the paper. Keywords must be carefully selected to reflect the subject of the paper.

Illustrations. Line drawings should be either: (1) original artwork drawn in black indelible ink, twice the size required for reproduction, using a 0.25 Rotring pen and upper and lower case stencil lettering, or Letraset with a capital letter of 4 mm; or (2) produced on a high quality laser printer for same size reproduction, with adequate line thickness and upper and lower case labelling in 8pt type. References. The Harvard system is used, with in-text citations of the authorí»s name followed by the year of publication, e.g. Smith (1995) or (Brown and Green, 1996), or when there are more than two authors, Jones et al. (1997). If there is more than one entry per year for the same author, then distinguish with a letter, e.g. 1995a, 1995b, etc. All references should be listed in detail at the end of the paper in alphabetical order by the first authorí»s surname. The following are examples of the style:

Murdock, j., and Hughes, W. (1996). Construction contracts: Law and management, 2nd Ed., E&FN Spon, London.

Shen, L. Y., Drew, D., and Zhang, Z. H. (1999). "An Optimal Bidding Model for Price-Time Bi-parameter Construction Contracts." Journal of Construction Engineering & Management, ASCE, 125(3), 204-209.
