HKAUW Scholarship

The Hong Kong Association of University Women (HKAUW) wishes to express its gratitude to individuals for their generous contributions throughout the years.

Scholarships are awarded to encourage and aid women students in their chosen academic endeavours. Selections are based on the excellence of their attainments as well as their contributions to the community.

There are two categories of scholarships awarded each academic year by the HKAUW. They are Undergraduate Scholarships and Postgraduate Scholarships.

Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to postgraduates students with interesting and original research projects, who have demonstrated leadership in team work and have made contributions or shown clear potentials as an achiever in their chosen disciplines.

In 2006, there were 5 post-graduate scholarship award winners. 4 post-graduate students were awarded HKAUW Thomas HC Cheung Post-graduate Scholarships of HK$20,000 each and BRE research stuent, miss Grace Lee, have won the HKAUW Thomas HC Cheung (Outstanding) Postgraduate Scholarship of HK$30,000 .
